Privacy policy

This page describes the processing of personal data linked to https://socialsecurityage.com. The publisher is established in France, so Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) applies to it, whatever the country of the visitor.

2. What the calculators do not do

Your date of birth, salary, earnings record, benefit amounts and other income are computed in your browser. They are not sent to any server, not stored and not linked to any identifier. We never ask for a Social Security number, and you should never type one into any calculator.

The "copy a link" button writes your inputs into the page address so that you can come back to a result or send it to someone. Anyone who receives that link can read those inputs: share it only with people you choose.

3. Processing carried out

Server logs

The host records the IP address, date, page requested, browser and referring page. Purpose: security and diagnostics. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: according to the host's (GitHub's) policy.

Anonymous stability monitoring with Microsoft Clarity, no cookies

The publisher records no personal data about you. To keep the site working, it uses Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin) in cookie-free mode: for each page view, errors, loading times, clicks that lead nowhere and scrolling are measured without any cookie and without linking visits, with page content and inputs masked. Microsoft receives the technical data of the request, including the IP address from which an approximate location is derived, and keeps recordings for 30 days and aggregated data for up to 13 months. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a site that works (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); no cookie or identifier is kept on your device. You can object at any time by blocking clarity.ms or by writing to us. There is no advertising.

Messages

If you write to us, your address and message are used to answer. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: three years after the last exchange.

4. Recipients

No data is sold. The host has access to logs, as a processor under Article 28 GDPR, and Microsoft processes technical data for the stability monitoring.

5. Transfers

The host, GitHub, Inc., is based in the United States; logs may be processed there under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses; the same applies to monitoring data at Microsoft Corporation.

6. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR): write to contact@socialsecurityage.com; we answer within one month. You may complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr.

7. No automated decision

An estimate computed at your request has no legal effect and is not an automated decision under Article 22 GDPR.
